So Much Love

It started quietly some twenty-somthn years ago when the little me (UGo) came into this world. Today I have just added another one and as i move closer to my end with every step i take one thing refreshes my spirit; how come they love me so much?.....
I woke up as I have always done every other day since the wake of 2006 (5.30am), spent close to 45 mins reading a whole bunch of text messages all saying different things and wishing me good life, health, success and everything that sounds good for the world, had to start deleting cos my phone was saying - no space for new messages. Then it was call time while I plugged my phone to rechrge the battery at about 8am after recieving series of Happy Birthday phone calls (battery was almost flat) I was wondering how they all still remembered it was today.

Then the surprise; since we had problems with the water supply we had to fetch elsewhere, but behold as i opened my door there was a line of clothes leading to the bathroom with a whole bath ready situation and the singing ( happy birthday bla bla....) As if that wasnt enough before the bath was over breakfast was waiting at the bedside and everyone stood still till i passed. Those were the handwork of my friends and neighbours, what else can I ask for.

Out to town, members of team Basenet were waitin to usher me into the best restaurant in Owerri (Gevinik) for lunch and i had to sneak away to be here now and as I expected the party is really in full gear,87 ecrads, 16 emails and 19 offline messages I am still reading, thanks to the community at TIG,must not also forget the mobile company MTN for remebering today in a special way.

Maybe when I leave here I might be whisked away in a JET ( if wishes.....) Honestly I do not know the next surprise my pals will pull up this time as the day is not yet spent.

Well I will tell you guys all about it in my Birthday reflections.

Man made crowd, crowd.....
Related to country: Nigeria

Never wanted to write this but can't it looks like there is no way out.

1806- man made monster, monster destroys man.. Prof Frankeinsten
2006- Man made crowd, crowd annoys man.... Prof. A.Nduka

Those were the expressions of some of the close to 300 students who stand as Quantum mechanics students, some in 4th yr, more 5th yr(supposed to be final year, some 6th), some 7th, and even 8th year students more because one man thinks his method is the best and no one does anything to question him.

After a series of sequencial mass failures in all the courses he has ever handled over the years these group of broken students have become a kind of silent agitating walking frames.One starts to ask do they actually understand him? On this faithful day(thurs,Jan.12, 2006), as Prof entered the class for a supposed Test, the following conversation ensued;

As he looks in amazement at the size of his class, and

Student: Are you scared?
student: This is your handwork, more are still coming.
Prof Nduka: (smiles) You think I am giving a test today that is why all of you are here, there is no test for a crowd
student: (excited) leave us alone!
student : get out!!!!!!!!

He quickly packs his books and ran out of the class, and started wondering. The Prof. I knew will walk who ever said a word in his class out and make jest of him. As He left the class students rained all sorts of curses on him and his family and he walked staright into the HOD's office.

Back in the class, the student leaders lock up the door and start strategizing on how to get the final signatures they need to be able to tender a full petition to all the authorities necessary so that he stops teaching them.

one starts wondering what the realtionship between a teacher and his pupil should look like. How come a student passes well in other courses handled by other lecturers even thesame course in question, but if he is in charge of any course, there will be mass failure and the few (always twelve) that pass do so with Es?

Today, Jan 13 he is supposed to have a Phy 503 class, but the head of department came by himself to tell the class that Prof cannot come to class today, which is rather strange.

Have we seen the last of the ORACLE? I am yet to find out

Thinkin along... (1)

Its a New Year once again and as I kept on recieving and sending sms since the early hours of yesterday(even though MTN wasn't delivering the messages) I keep wondering if its really a New year cos I keep hearing thesame things i have heard last year (...).

Now I must think like the man down there in my village who cannot do what I am doing right now not because he cannot brave it up to travel the 60km to get a manageble access but because he thinks its not necessary because the English is too much and he does not understand or see any real gains.

Over the news l;ast night i started hearing all these grammar again, consolidation, recapitalization, repositioning, new improved, and somehow i get really pissed because the common man on this street does not want to know how well you can use your words, the Big Question is " HOW DOES IT BETTER MY LIFE?".

I now ask my own question, don't you guys thing we have wasted so much time preparing the paint? why don't we go ahead and start painting the wall in 2006?
I am still thinking and my thoughts are really exploding my head, are we really learning?........ to be continued

All about being young, This Year

On my way back from the southeast in one of the self aclaimed best road transport in the country, an arguement ensued in the Bus as one of the passengers refused to close his Window while harsh hammatan wind was harrassing the "nightlight out of her neighbours" so I went ahead to plead to her on all of my behalf, and guess what she said, "You small boys, what do you know that you are coming to preach to me?" as a matter of fact i was surprised as she was still within the African youth Bracket and this keeps me wondering why people should just tag themself old when this wiorld is all about being young.
That took me to my thought for the Night, "This Year" has definitely turned out to be the most intersting my my life and career. I started recalling all the things that being young and claiming young has done to me. Base Net started off early this year, and we have really achieved tremendously in terms of publicity, coalition and Individual enhancement. Talking about Individual enhancement I made over 300 frioends this year as against 40 last year and the contacts are really tight.
I am not a fan of Christmas but I have decided to shop for a vacation spot and when I decide I will let you guys know. That brings to two what i am serching for now cos am also looking for a project Topic on electronic systems.
